Quick start

Requires Node.js >=22.19.0. Run directly via npx without a global install:

To enable browser-tier DOM hydration auditing, install the optional Playwright/Chromium runtime as documented in the README.

  • Bounded requests: Uses bounded timeout windows and strict byte-size limits to protect local resources.
  • Not a hosted crawler: SEO Notary is a targeted single-page inspector and assertion utility, not a bulk rank tracker or commercial SEO platform.
  • No independent audit: No third-party security certification has been performed; use appropriate local security practices.
